  18. Well, I said I'd post it and it turned out to be
  19. easier than I thought.  As with all of the
  20. Coverdale/Page songs I've posted, repeat the phrases
  21. as necessary.  There is lots of room to experiment
  22. with the leads in this song if you have more than
  23. one guitar playing.  Stuff just started falling together
  24. while I was listening to it last night.  Enjoy...

  49.
  50. The following phrase also reappears a lot, usually with
  51. leads played over it.  The rhythm shown here may not be
  52. exactly right, but it sounds okay (esp. with the leads)
  53.

  60.
  61.
  62. Incorporate the following licks in as necessary,
  63. these two will be used a lot in this song:
  64.
  65. E-|-----------12--15s17vvvvvvvv---|
  66. B-|--------13---------------------|
  67. G-|--12b14------------------------|
  68. D-|-------------------------------|
  69. A-|-------------------------------|
  70. E-|-------------------------------|
  71.
  72. E-|------------15------------15-----------------------|
  73. B-|--13p12-13------13p12-13------13p12-13p12----------|
  74. G-|-------------------------------------------12vvv---|
  75. D-|---------------------------------------------------|
  76. A-|---------------------------------------------------|
  77. E-|---------------------------------------------------|
  78.
  79. Later, over the top of one of the picking patterns during
  80. a verse you get the following lead:
  81.
  82. E-|-------------------------------|
  83. B-|-----------12vv--10vv----------|  This same lead appears
  84. G-|--------13-------------9vv-----|  at other times, sometimes
  85. D-|-----14------------------------|  leaving out the last two
  86. A-|--14---------------------------|  notes, others leaving out
  87. E-|-------------------------------|  the last one.
  88.
  89. Just before the solo in the middle of the song, the progression
  90. changes from the   Am F G   to   Am G F .  It's a small change,
  91. but very noticable.  It changes back to the  Am F G right at the
  92. end of the solo.
  93.
  94. Solo:
  95.    I'll start the solo from where the common lead lick starts to
  96.    change.  For a few seconds, two guitars will be playing.  This
  97.    probably isn't exactly right either, so if anyone wants to
  98.    post corrections....
  99.

  153. Just before the fade on the end, there is and additional
  154. lick between the two common ones shown earlier.  The whole
  155. phrase goes something like this:
  156.
  157. E-|-----------15------------15----------------------------------------------|
